Takoyaki from Japan

One of the foods from Japan that is currently very loved by the people in Indonesia is Takoyaki. Perhaps almost all of you have tried the typical snack of Kansai, Japan this one yes. Because this food in Indonesia has started many found both in the Mall, roadside or in other places.
Shaped round and measuring about 3-5 cm is also commonly called Japanese roasted baso. The takoyaki (た こ 焼 き) (tako = octopus, yaki = roast) is due to the fact that it is not fried in large amounts of oil, but baked in a small spherical mold and then reversed to form a full sphere. The material used to make takoyaki is wheat flour containing octopus pieces in it.
In Japan, takoyaki is usually sold as street snacks to enjoy as a snack. One set contains 5.6,8 to 10 takoyaki pieces served on plastic sheet or plastic packaging to take home. One of the places where you will easily find this food in Japan is when the matsuri (festival) is held.
To enjoy takoyaki, you can use a toothpick. But in Tokyo, takoyaki is eaten using disposable chopsticks.
Takoyaki also turned out to have various types you know. There are plain takoyaki, takoyaki with sauce (the surface is smeared with sauce then plus mayonnaise, nori and katsuoboshi (preserved food from dried skipjack)), there is takoyaki with soy sauce (takoyaki whose surface is smeared with soy sauce) which is often found in the Nagoya area and its surroundings, and Akashiyaki (made from wheat flour diluted with many chicken eggs and also dashi then served lined up on a plate then eaten by dipping it into a dashi-based soup).
As a food proud citizens of Osaka, in every home usually has a frying pan to make your own takoyaki at home. Not only women, but men in Osaka usually also know and can roast takoyaki own. Takoyaki is very good to eat when it is still hot directly or as side dish with rice. But if you do not have time to eat it while still warm, you just heat it into the microwave for 30 seconds, then takoyaki will be ready to eat again!
